Already this year I have made presents for my friends Barbara’s 60th and Nicole’s 40th. Now it is the turn of my sister-in-law Kathy who is 50 today.
These are not the best photos ever taken, snapped in a rush before I wrapped the necklace and earrings to give them to her yesterday. But it gives an idea of the finished result. I used some lovely faceted carnelian beads, teamed with some pretty glass beads which seem to be silver paint with a brown pattern over the top.
I used some copper-effect circles and silver jump rings to blend with the beads. Also a record number of loops that I had to make myself – I hope they hold and the necklace doesn’t fall apart !!
